Storytelling & Narrative
Learn more about the themes.
We are reviewing applications in the order we receive them, and spots are running out quickly. The application is designed to be completed in one sitting - apply today!
the fellowship model
Fellowships meet two times per week—once to learn about the theme and once to do skills labs
Each week we introduce you to a new topic related to the theme
Each week we also run skills labs to teach immediately useful concepts like asking powerful questions, storylining, surveying, and analyzing data
The skills labs bring together students from all 4 fellowships
Each week you work with a coach to advance on a project of your choosing
Many weeks we have guest speakers who work in related fields
And, of course, we have dinner
By the end of the fellowship, you'll have had a chance to explore an interest and different ways of studying and acting on it.
Who it's for
Young adults, 15-18 years old
Who care about the world and want to make it better
Who don't have to miss more than two sessions—space in the fellowship is limited and so is our time together, so we want students who can fully commit
Fellowships will meet two times per week starting the week of July 1st until Thursday, August 8th.
Sessions will be held at MakeOffices, a co-working space that is a 2 minute walk from the Dupont metro. The address is 1200 18th St NW #700.
Participation is selective but tuition-free
